Pushkar is one of the oldest and world renowned fair of Rajasthan which is mainly celebrated and organized five days from the, the full moon day. The fair is organized in the month of (November–December) according to Hindu calendar. AS per Hindu Mythology the full moon day is the main day and as per ritual thoughts when the Hindu god Brahma spring up the Pushkar Lake, numerous people took bath in this sacred waters. Moreover, in this fair every year thousands and thousands of people all over the worlds assemble together and take part in the ritual activities and as per Hindus mythology is an important task to get rid of all human sufferings.
To see and take part in this fair People assemble on the banks of the Pushkar Lake. All the localities bring their livestock, which includes cows, camels, sheep and goats sales them, women go to the stalls, bring artistic jewelry and other house hold goods like clothes, textiles and fabrics. In this fair at a time many things takes places like in one part of the fair the localities organize camel race starts with music, songs and folk dance. Further, between these events many other events take places where people full participate and enjoy.
